Crack the Code Room Escape is more than just an escape room—it’s a passion, turned thriving small business, built on creativity, dedication, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Founded by Laura, Crack the Code first opened its doors in March 2018 in the heart of downtown Tinley Park on Oak Park Avenue.
Laura, a Lewis University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, discovered her love for escape rooms during her college years. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a dream—one that combined her business expertise with her enthusiasm for immersive experiences.
With a focus on handcrafted puzzles, unique themes, and family-friendly fun, Crack the Code became a local favorite. Thanks to its success and loyal customer base, Laura expanded in August 2024, opening a second location in Mokena, IL.
What truly sets Crack the Code apart is Laura’s dedication to customer service. She goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome, valued, and excited for their adventure. Her flexible approach makes booking a breeze, and she even takes calls outside of business hours—so whether you're planning a last-minute game night or a special event, she's always happy to help.
